is texas a nice place visit and what is there to do there?

texas is okay to visit. being from here, i can find tons of things to do as needed, but couldnt imagine visiting for vacation. for one, the weather can be horrible, really cold or hot and humid. there are lots of outdoor activities, sports teams, shopping, concerts, sightseeing, museums, amusement parks, etc. texas has some very scenic places and lots of friendly people. i would look into the individual city tourism sites for some ideas.

Texas is great... the weather may be a hot, but best time to wear shorts and go out and just relax. Houston is the best place to visit..so many attractions

IF not, then Austin (the capital).. too much parting and drinking.... i love that

San Antonio has a lot of places to visit. Six Flags of Texas is in Arlington in basic terms outside of Dallas. Austin is a effective college city and is likewise the capitol of Texas. Texas is the best - expecially Austin - for eating and drinking - the nature -canoeing on the river - seeing the bats come up from the bridge - the weather ....

depends on what you are used to. where you are coming from. texas is an acquired taste. i live here and have been other places that were more fun on vacation. but i really like living here.
