barton springs, the texas museum, capital building, austin zoo, the UT campus, lake travis, town lake, south congress (fun shopping), whole foods/book people, 6th street, pete's piano bar, etc. depends on what age your group is.

Austin is pretty nice, not better than FL or Las Vegas :-)
