ALL Dorms at UT Austin?

Question

I'm having issues getting info on ALL of the on campus dorms on one website...I know some of them are honors dorms, and some are all female/male, but how are they in terms of price? I know Jester is cheapest, San Jacinto is most expensive, but how are they priced in the middle? I don't have a whole lot of money to blow on college dorms...so I was opting for Jester, but are the living conditions so bad that I should pay a few hundred extra dollars to live in another dorm?

Also, which dorms have what kind of vibe to them? Do they each have their own personality, and do some have more social communities than others? Could I walk inside them if I was on a campus tour by myself?

Jester's really cool. I haven't been in the dorms themselves, but I was on the ground level. The place looks like a freakin' mall! If I had done my undergrad at UT I'd have liked to stay there because there's so many terrific places to eat there. I've even heard that some intro-level courses are taught in that building (I kid you not).



A dorm's a dorm's a dorm. I'm sure you can visit it on a campus tour.

I stayed have a block off campus at Castillian. I liked it ok. It became out to be slightly cleanser than a number of my pals' that lived on Campus. yet what I liked became into the nutrients and laundry.
